TransferMate partners with Raindrop Systems to embed global payment capabilities into source-to-pay workflows
TransferMate, the world’s leading provider of embedded B2B payments infrastructure, has today announced a strategic partnership with Raindrop Systems, an AI-Native agentic source-to-pay spend management platform, to embed global payment capabilities directly into Raindrop Systems’ environment.
The partnership will enable Raindrop System’s customers to move seamlessly from sourcing and invoicing through to payment execution within a single workflow, transforming the platform into a fully integrated source-to-pay solution. Through its partnership with TransferMate, the business will now provide customers with fully embedded domestic and cross-border payment capabilities, enabling organizations to manage the entire spend lifecycle, from sourcing through settlement, within a single platform for the Office of the CFO. The experience will be delivered seamlessly inside Raindrop, allowing customers to initiate, manage, and track global payments without leaving the Raindrop platform or disrupting existing user workflows.
The integration will be delivered through TransferMate’s embedded API infrastructure, where Raindrop will initially leverage TransferMate’s payments capabilities to deliver a native Raindrop payment experience for customers. Raindrop also plans to adopt TransferMate’s Virtual Card functionality once available later this year, further expanding payment options within the platform.
The partnership marks a strategic expansion for TransferMate into the source-to-pay and spend management SaaS vertical, embedding its global payment infrastructure directly into enterprise financial workflows where payments naturally occur. By embedding TransferMate directly into its platform, Raindrop will eliminate fragmented banking processes and manual payment workflows, while enhancing approval controls, strengthening fraud prevention, improving FX outcomes, and increasing visibility across global spend.
For customers, the partnership will enable a more seamless and scalable way to manage procurement, invoicing, and payment execution globally, while reducing operational friction and supporting international growth.
“Unified financial operations that remove friction between procurement, invoicing, and payments are crucial for businesses,” said Gary Conroy, President and Chief Commercial Officer at TransferMate. “This partnership with Raindrop reflects the continued evolution of embedded finance within the Office of the CFO. By integrating our global payment infrastructure directly into Raindrop’s source-to-pay workflows, we are helping customers simplify complex payment operations, strengthen controls, and scale globally through a single connected platform. As we continue to expand our embedded capabilities across key SaaS verticals, partnerships like this reinforce TransferMate’s position as the infrastructure provider of choice for modern global payments.”
Ward Karson, Co-founder and COO of Raindrop Systems, added: “Our mission has always been to simplify and modernise the entire source-to-pay lifecycle. Partnering with TransferMate allows us to complete that journey by embedding true global payment capabilities directly into our platform. This gives our customers the ability to manage the entire source-to-pay lifecycle within one connected system, while improving visibility, controls, and operational efficiency across global spend.”
The partnership also supports the migration of Raindrop’s existing domestic ACH payment customers onto TransferMate’s infrastructure over time, with all new payment customers set to be powered through TransferMate going forward.’
